How to play Need for Speed: ProStreet split screen on PC

Get Nucleus Co-op
Download Nucleus Co-op, free for Windows 10 and 11, and unzip it into its own folder, for example C:\NucleusCo-op. There is no installer.
Keep it out of Program Files, your user folder and OneDrive.
Download Nucleus Co-op
Install the Need for Speed: ProStreet handler
In Nucleus Co-op, search the Hub for Need for Speed: ProStreet and install its handler, or download the handler file from this page and drop it on the Nucleus window. Then show Nucleus where Need for Speed: ProStreet is installed.

Take a seat
Each player presses a button on their own controller to join and takes a spot on the screen. Pick a layout that fits your players.
Launch and connect
Press Launch: Nucleus opens one copy of Need for Speed: ProStreet per player and lays the windows out on your screen. Then link them in game, usually one player hosts a LAN or online session and the others join it. The handler notes say how.

You need Patch 1.1 for LAN servers, else it won't work (https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Need_for_Speed:_ProStreet#Patches).

DON'T HAVE ANY MODS INSTALLED SOME WILL BREAK RESIZING/RESOLUTION OR THE CONTROLLERS.

The saves per instance are stored inside Nucleus Co-op content folder so if you delete Nucleus or the game content folder, your Nucleus saves for this game will be lost (not your main game save).

Recommended that you add custom resolutions to all your monitors from your AMD/Nvidia/Intel panel (for example if you are using a monitor resolution of 1920x1080 add custom resolutions like 1920x540, 960x1080, 960x540, etc.).
