How to play Son of Nor split screen on PC
Get Nucleus Co-op
Download Nucleus Co-op, free for Windows 10 and 11, and unzip it into its own folder, for example C:\NucleusCo-op. There is no installer.
Keep it out of Program Files, your user folder and OneDrive.
Install the Son of Nor handler
In Nucleus Co-op, search the Hub for Son of Nor and install its handler, or download the handler file from this page and drop it on the Nucleus window. Then show Nucleus where Son of Nor is installed.
Take a seat
Each player presses a button on their own controller to join and takes a spot on the screen. Pick a layout that fits your players.
Playing with several keyboards and mice? Press End once everything is in place to give each window its own cursor.
Launch and connect
Press Launch: Nucleus opens one copy of Son of Nor per player and lays the windows out on your screen. Then link them in game, usually one player hosts a LAN or online session and the others join it. The handler notes say how.

Handler notes
-
This game already has native split-screen for 2 players max but with this you can play 4 players co-op, 1 player per instance.
-
Select a different character profile per instance. Host a multiplayer public game in one instance and join in the others. Navigate the menus using your main mouse cursor as the gamepads will control all the instances menus until you are in-game.
-
This game uses the horrible Unity default input for gamepad support so if your gamepads do not restrict correctly do this: go to the game controls settings and map the gamepad you want to control that instance to the first gamepad mappings, for the other 3 gamepads unassign all the keys using the escape key in all instances. If you use keyboards/mice after all the instances have launched, resized and positioned correctly, press the END key once to lock the input for all instances to have their own cursor, you need to left click each mouse to make the emulated cursors appear after locking the input. Press the END key again to unlock the input when you finish playing.
-
Xbox One/Series gamepads have issues controlling Unity games in the background that use the default input even with forced focus, follow this guide for solutions: https://github.com/SplitScreen-Me/splitscreenme-www/blob/master/docs/Xboxone.md.
