How to play Call of Duty split screen on PC
Get Nucleus Co-op
Download Nucleus Co-op, free for Windows 10 and 11, and unzip it into its own folder, for example C:\NucleusCo-op. There is no installer.
Keep it out of Program Files, your user folder and OneDrive.
Install the Call of Duty handler
In Nucleus Co-op, search the Hub for Call of Duty and install its handler, or download the handler file from this page and drop it on the Nucleus window. Then show Nucleus where Call of Duty is installed.
Take a seat
Each player presses a button on their own controller to join and takes a spot on the screen. Pick a layout that fits your players.
Playing with several keyboards and mice? Press End once everything is in place to give each window its own cursor.
Launch and connect
Press Launch: Nucleus opens one copy of Call of Duty per player and lays the windows out on your screen. Then link them in game, usually one player hosts a LAN or online session and the others join it. The handler notes say how.

Handler notes
Video showcase/tutorial: https://youtu.be/obz5UHzYpNM (Video is for COD United Offensive, but works exactly the same for this handler).
Tested with the Steam version of the game and version 1.5.
IMPORTANT: Start the main game once before and change some settings.
When the instances are starting/resizing do not interact with them, the mouse will bug out if you do.
This game has minimal controller support (it isn't even known to have controller support), use your mouse to navigate the menus, also the right stick has a high sensitivity, there is no known fixes for it yet.
Recommended that you add custom resolutions to all your monitors from your AMD/Nvidia/Intel panel (for example if you are using a monitor resolution of 1920x1080 add custom resolutions like 1920x540, 960x1080, 960x540, etc.).
The handler uses names.exe, F2 Host.exe, F3 Restart.exe, F4 Next.exe and safeMode.exe they are made for a better experience in split-screen, if they get deleted by your AV, just disable your AV when you are downloading the handler, they are needed else you will be getting a crash at the start.
