How to play Inversion split screen on PC

Get Nucleus Co-op
Download Nucleus Co-op, free for Windows 10 and 11, and unzip it into its own folder, for example C:\NucleusCo-op. There is no installer.
Keep it out of Program Files, your user folder and OneDrive.
Download Nucleus Co-op
Install the Inversion handler
In Nucleus Co-op, search the Hub for Inversion and install its handler, or download the handler file from this page and drop it on the Nucleus window. Then show Nucleus where Inversion is installed.

Take a seat
Each player presses a button on their own controller to join and takes a spot on the screen. Pick a layout that fits your players.
Launch and connect
Press Launch: Nucleus opens one copy of Inversion per player and lays the windows out on your screen. Then link them in game, usually one player hosts a LAN or online session and the others join it. The handler notes say how.

READ THE NOTES CAREFULLY!

■ Max of 2 Players Campaign Co-op, 4 Players Survival mode Co-op and 12 Players for other modes.

■ Multiple gamepads support only.

NOTE: IMPORTANT!!! DO THIS OR IT WON'T WORK:

Make sure you can launch and play this game fine from Steam before using this.

On Nucleus launch press the Windows key on your keyboard IMMEDIATELY before the first instance opens (Start Menu pops up, leave it on top). When all the other instances have opened, press the windows key again to close the start menu. You have to do this or the instances will not resize correctly.

In the Title Menu, go down to Party Settings and set ALL instances to System Link/LAN. Press Y in your gamepad to open that menu, if the instances do not see each other in the top right players menu set the instances back to online, accept then back to System Link/LAN until they see the other players. After the instances are connected, start a co-op campaign or multiplayer game.

If you want to fix stretching, you need to create custom resolutions in your AMD/Nvidia/Intel panel (this game only sees custom horizontal resolutions like 1920x600 and 3840x1080) so the game can see and use them. Reduce resolution and other graphics settings in-game to improve performance, apply then launch again.
