How to play God Eater 3 split screen on PC

  1. Get Nucleus Co-op

    Download Nucleus Co-op, free for Windows 10 and 11, and unzip it into its own folder, for example C:\NucleusCo-op. There is no installer.

    Keep it out of Program Files, your user folder and OneDrive.

  2. Install the God Eater 3 handler

    In Nucleus Co-op, search the Hub for God Eater 3 and install its handler, or download the handler file from this page and drop it on the Nucleus window. Then show Nucleus where God Eater 3 is installed.

  3. Take a seat

    Each player presses a button on their own controller to join and takes a spot on the screen. Pick a layout that fits your players.

  4. Launch and connect

    Press Launch: Nucleus opens one copy of God Eater 3 per player and lays the windows out on your screen. Then link them in game, usually one player hosts a LAN or online session and the others join it. The handler notes say how.

  • A PC that can run 4 copies

    Each player runs their own copy of God Eater 3, so the PC carries several times the usual load. Lower the graphics settings if it struggles. Performance tips

  • A multiplayer mode

    Nucleus links the windows through the game's own LAN or online mode; the handler takes care of it.

Handler notes

IMPORTANT: On first Nucleus run the game instances will open in fullscreen, set them all to windowed in the game graphic settings, select the custom resolution you want and start a game for the graphics settings to save.

Only works one instance per monitor unless you add custom resolutions in your AMD/Nvidia/Intel panel (For example for a 1920x1080 monitor add: 960x1080, 960x540, 1920x540 etc.) so the game can see and use them, select the custom resolution in the in-game graphics settings as the game will not display correctly if you resize its window without changing the game resolution. After doing all that select the ge3 process in Nucleus process picker window, click refresh if you don't see it, do the same for all the instances that open. You can access each instance save in the app, after the first launch click game options/open user profile save path in the UI.

Needs Steam latest version of the game to work.

    hi! i have an issue when transfer my savedata from Nucleus user profile save path To my original steam profile save path. It say "One or more downloadable content are missing". anyone have an idea to fix this?

      the problem is when we transfer original savepath to nucleus savepath, we get new dlc like TOV Yuri. And in original game we don't have that DLC (because TOV Yuri is only switch exclusive)
